Tea time in the sun. We now know what it is like to dig in the Mediterranean.

There was much discussion today of our exciting adventures on the river Boyne the previous night. We are coming down on Medieval layers in Cutting J and K. The find trays contain an abundance of medieval fine wares, cooking wares and tile fragments. Arlene and Siobhan have been working through demolition collapse near the baulk at Cutting H and have retrieved more beautiful medieval floor tiles. Through the day we have been offered some riddle assistance from some young enthusiastic volunteers including Ian. Many Thanks!

Connell, Nora, Noel and Roasanne. The hard working team in Cutting J take a lolly break.
